Shannon Lawson (née Donnelly) is a fictional character on ITV British drama Footballers' Wives, played by English actress Sarah Barrand. She was initially a parody of Coleen McLoughlin,[1] but in later seasons she matured and moved away from her original personality traits.

Extra Time - Series 1

Before Conrad Gates funeral, Shannon tells Harley that she couldn't live without him. At the wake, Gary Ryan tells Harley, now that Madrid have lost out on Conrad, they are now interested in signing Harley. Although Shannon flatly refuses to consider the idea of moving to Spain, Harley is adamant - he's going to Madrid with or without her. On reflection, Harley is quite pleased with the turn of events as it gives him the chance to make a new start, hopefully with Katie at his side. But then Shannon surprises him with her latest purchase, a speak Spanish CD. She decides to go to Spain with him. Harley arranges to go on ahead to Madrid for a medical and believes that Shannon is staying at home. He is actually travelling with Katie. Eager to surprise him, Shannon books herself a ticket and hot foots it to the airport only to bump into Katie. Initially, Shannon believes that their encounter is a coincidence, but when Katie reveals the truth, she is mortified and realises she has lost her husband forever.

Extra Time - Series 2

Shannon visits recovering Darius in hospital with her new boyfriend Callum. After Seb Webb's death, Shannon visits Darius again. She and Callum visit Darius at home and are interested to hear about Jeanette Dunkley's healing abilities. They think she can get rid of Callum's mum Trisha's cancer.
